I worked at COACH Leatherwear for 9+ years as a Customer Service and Furniture Rep. and retired in 2004. While I was working one day a customer called to order some flip flop keyfobs for her daughter's wedding. After we hung up I thought about the regular flip flops we had that were pricey even with our employee discount. It was then I decided I could decorate casual flip flops for myself and as a hobby. I bought some flip flops at Old Navy and went on-line to order a pair of plastic feet, I only bought one pair which was a size 6 and painted the toenails. In some of the pictures you can tell there is a "small foot" in a larger flip flop. I took some pictures of my flip flops and added the palm tree trunk since I've always doodled palm trees and decided to use it as my FloppyJos logo. I no longer decorate colored flip flops because they are too difficult to match with the bridal colors. I soon started making casual flip flops for my co-workers, friends and customers who had specific requests. Can you decorate flip flops for a wedding?...never have, but yes I can. Can you hide my ugly toes?...yes I can. Can you decorate a candle?...never have, but yes I can. Can you decorate a sun visor?...never have, but yes I can. Can you decorate something for a race car driver?...sure, I love a challenge!!! If you have a special request, just ask me. However, ...I no longer decorate colored flip flops... I made my web page, so please excuse the cluttered appearance....I'm doing the best I can. |

| Ripley is my plus size girl. She is a Golden Retriever/ Lab mix and has the sweetest nature about her. She is my shadow and where I go, she follows. My hobby room is our domain, our space to relax and my space to make something pretty. Quite often while I'm working, glitter, sequins and pearls float to the carpet. When she wants attention, she sits and puts her head on my leg while I'm working. When she gets up,....... her booty is sparkling. |

| Hi JoAnn, You made some flip flops for my bridesmaids and I for my wedding on June 17th in Maui, Hawaii. I thought I would share some pics with you and let you know the flip flops were perfect! I was not one of those brides who wanted the bridesmaids to look worst than the bride, but damn, they almost looked too good (ha ha)! | R.I.P Ripley June 13, 2009 I lost my girl today and I am heartbroken. Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies who has been especially close to someone here on earth, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food and water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who have been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing, they miss someone very special to them who had to be left behind. The animals all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. Her bright eyes are intent; her eager body begins to quiver. Suddenly, she begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, her legs carrying her faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face, your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
